Antipodes® devotees in the French capital have been treated to a stunning vegetarian pop-up space in the heart of the flagship Printemps department store, a new beauty concept for the luxury chain.

The scientifically validated certified organic and vegan natural beauty brand from New Zealand has been available at Printemps since October in a space called ‘Officine’ which showcases premium natural skincare.

The intricate Antipodes pop-up, which was beautifully covered in lush greenery was created by visual merchandiser Carlotta De Guitant and Make Your Pop Up in the historic store on Boulevard Haussmann in the 9th arrondissement of Paris for the month of April.

An Antipodes Brand Ambassador was in-store to help customers experience the range and Connect with Nature™ in New Zealand with relaxing treatments using Antipodes’ luxurious hand and body creams.

The pop-up also helped to increase awareness of Antipodes’ new certified vegan status by the Vegetarian Society of the UK. Veganism is currently a popular lifestyle choice for the French who are increasingly seeking items that contain no animal products.

Antipodes' company director and founder Elizabeth Barbalich has just completed her third successful visit to the market as the brand continues to grow in France, particularly in Paris.

The nation is experiencing booming demand for natural and organic products as its people want to know more about where products have come from and how they are sourced.

"The French are especially interested in the quality of ingredients from New Zealand and how Antipodes' products have achieved such excellent scientific results using only natural ingredients," Mrs Barbalich says.

While in Paris Mrs Barbalich also launched the company's newest product, Halo Skin-Brightening Facial Mud Mask, and its Moisture-Boost Natural Lipsticks at an in-store event at Antipodes' retailer Mademoiselle Bio, one of France's most-loved natural health chains.

The event was attended by key beauty bloggers including Carnet du Dimanche, Kleo-beaute.com, Naturellement Lyla, Beautiful Naturelle, Charline Roumier and The Mellow Window.

As well as Printemps and Mademoiselle Bio, in France Antipodes now graces the shelves of Le Bon Marché, a luxurious historic department store on Paris’ Left Bank; Mademoiselle Bio, one of France’s most-loved natural health chains; and Oh My Cream!, a line of chic boutique concept stores in Paris.

New channels are being planned in the market for later this year and early next year.
