Our manuka honey is collected by bees from the flowers of the manuka tree, which grows in remote terrain throughout New Zealand. The honey is sourced sustainably by our responsible partners, who are based just several hours from Antipodes HQ and known for their integrity-based approach.

Manuka honey hydrates, moisturises, nourishes, rejuvenates, and restores skin’s natural glow – making it an essential cruelty-free skincare ingredient to promote a healthy visage. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties make it the ideal ingredient for helping to address the appearance of skin blemishes; whilst its role as a natural humectant helps draw vital moisture into the skin.

It has powerful moisture retaining properties, with the ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. It is also viscoelastic, a unique consistency that both flows and stretches. This powerful molecule is the body’s super hydrator, key to boosting water levels in the skin and keeping skin fresh and plumped.

We use only natural hyaluronic acid that is plant-based, cruelty-free, and free from GMOs – making it suitable even for vegan beauty products. It’s produced from the fermentation of a bacterium found in soil and roots. The bacteria are collected and fed a sugar solution in the lab, which triggers a fermentation process leading to the creation of high-quality hyaluronic acid.

Harakeke produces a cool, clear gel that is rich in omegas, helping to enhance hydration and promote softer, fresher skin. The key lies in natural plant sugars called polysaccharides, which help prevent trans-epidermal water loss in the skin. Harakeke is also naturally astringent, helping to cleanse skin and regulate oil, encouraging a blemish-free complexion.
